Assumptions always labelled bad, assumed to be a wrong
That one begins a party many others tag along Assumptions always try to help when knowing cannot see A guide to day to day when theory fails to meet what be Assuming what we see and hear are things that others do Assume that other’s words expressing what they mean to you Assumptions are a bridge between the why and how to act The wrapping and the ribbon gifting what we think as fact We live in a perpetual state of unceasing assumptions Dangling in moments propelled along by our presumptions For we cannot start to act without a thought to what comes next Assumptions must be made to make the options less perplexed Often the assumptions that we use will contradict Conflicting makes more outcomes we are able to predict So surprise is not the first responder failing to react Instead assumed corrected, one assumption stays intact With knowing never absolute, assuming fills the gaps A pressing need for not to heed the pausing of perhaps Assumptions spark a flare from which our further thoughts take form A basis for beginning from what living deemed the norm
