Now ignored as commonplace Thoughts that would once gain restraints Accept to daily face Thought insertion tried and trained To influence our spend Advertising marketed Align ours with their end Ideas of reference everywhere All website users tracked To show each want a click away Never searched but in abstract Paranoid that phones will hear Record our every word To sell and mine as data Consenting not occurred To know our place and time That spans every passing day All travel, virtual or real Let to who affords to pay The line between insanity And grounded within proof Drowned by beaches filled with heads Of those collectively aloof
