Welcome on board! I will be your flight attendant for the duration of our journey together. Please ensure that any carry-on items are inexpertly jammed into the overhead compartment enabling other passengers to struggle feebly to search for space for their own to delay our disembarkation. We request that you pretend to switch off your electronic devices for takeoff and landing, the more egregious transgressors will be reprimanded. This is for your own safety, as survivors of an unplanned airplane incident will be looking for someone to blame.
Please fasten your seatbelt. If you are unsure how, perhaps it's not for you. Your seatbelt will be most effective when used. It will not work at other times. This is a non smoking flight. Smoking is not permitted anywhere. This includes everywhere. Please take a note of your nearest emergency exit and try to remember it in the context of the chaos of disaster. Be aware that if it lies behind you, you'll have to struggle against the mindless panic stricken charge of your fellow passengers. If cabin pressure drops, masks will fall from the compartment above. Stifle your screams placing the mask firmly over your nose and mouth and try to breathe normally. Once the waves of terror ebb away, please remember your children also need to breathe. A reminder that you will be unable to help them if unconscious. Selfishness first begets selflessness later. Life vests are located under your seat. Pull the red toggles to inflate prior to entry into water but after achieving the exit. Leave all of your belongings behind. You value them above your own life, but passengers may resent being sacrificed for the sake of your twitter feed. Don't make yourself a target for nutritional reappropriation. In case of sudden unplanned deceleration, to avoid disembowelment please keep your trade table stowed, and to reduce concussion and spinal injuries ensure your seat is fully upright, whenever the aircraft is proximate to other solid objects. We hope you have a safe and pleasant flight.
