There lives a form of human who lives life upon a stage
An over vocal mime with no desire to flee the cage A costume to express the who the actor seeks to show Exaggerate the role that every photo forces know A pose to stretch each moment out in case their watchers blink With whispered shouts of lines they’re scripted think Emotions that they wish to feel exist only when seen Viewer validation granting purpose to their scene Just beneath the skin lives the fear that drives the play Absent an audience the act cannot stay No one to watch making nobody there A void that fills the mask that only inside scare
