There are those that have a fear of nothing clinging to their backs
Threatening at every turn through silence dread attacks Terrified of emptiness that wakes the void within Quiet within conversation strikes as deadly sin Words the only cure to sate the terror thought will bring Let words with empty meaning plug the hole from happening Thinking thoughts mean others may be thinking theirs as well May be thinking of the boredom being in this quiet hell The more that’s spoken, less that’s said as the nothings eat their own Where the words that weave that gaps are gone as quickly as they’re sewn Leaves the attempting filling futile fear returning in due course Eternal battle waged in vain ‘gainst unrelenting force
